What to do for a day in asheville

Last year we made a trek out to North Carolina and made a short stop in Asheville. We were there for a couple days, but you can totally fit all we did in a day if that's all you've got time for. Asheville is a beautiful, quiet southern town nestled in the mountains with lush hills everywhere you go. Here's what we stumbled upon during our time there:

Hi Wire Brewing

The local breweries here are oh so popular in this town. We stopped at Hi Wire Brewing and, oh man, it was poppin'. We snagged a couple beers here and they were delish. Their building really draws you in with all its color.

Chill at Rabbit Rabbit

Rabbit Rabbit is an event space in Asheville, but when they don't have anything going on it's simply a huge concrete court with lots of picnic tables so you can just relax in the sunshine with a beer. They serve food here, too.

Beer me, again

Eat at White Duck Taco Shop

THESE WERE THE BEST TACOS IVE EVER HAD. Yea, that's right. These were friggin' amazingggg tacos. I dream about these tacos, y'all. The line to get our order in was long on a Saturday, but so worth it. They've got a big selection to choose from and the portion are decent sizes, they're bigger than those small street tacos. They've got lots of outside seating as well.

The duck may swim on the lake but my daddy owns the lake

Murial Hunting

Murial Hunting is always a fun and free activity, so I'm always hunting them down when visiting a new city. Asheville is just littered with them!

This is one of a gazillion we found

There you have it-I hope you add this little big town to your list of North Caroline stops!
